Everyone has a good idea sometime in their life.
Many times, we don't follow through, and someone else sees it's success because of our self-doubt...
Our idea came from a visual memory of a rockstar-wanna-be nephew, Lincoln Lambert (pictured), who constantly played the "air-guitar" around the house. My dad, being of an older generation, thought he looked
"rather stupid," and in turn, built a look-a-like guitar out of wood (long before GuitarHero was ever dreamed of). The guitar shaped wood was something he could hold on to, problem solved.
Many years later... when my son started playing real guitars, I noticed they were always lying around or getting knocked over on the floor. They just seemed to always be in the way. I decided to remedy the problem by hanging them up on the wall. I had tried regular guitar wall-hangers, but it just didnt really do anything for the wall itself. Then the idea hit me to duplicate the idea my Dad had many years ago. I could attach the hangers
on a guitar shaped body, similar to the one in my memory, problem solved.
Many years later... again.
My son, Vance Lambert, talked me into building these customized guitar hangers for other people. The response has been very positive, thus we moved forward by obtaining our product patent and creating a legal entity to
bring the Wall-Axe multi-guitar hanging system to the world.
Lambo Designs was created.
